Document historical manufacturer, machine type, serial number and any JML project reference separately. State core-box dimensions, parting plane, shot volume and binder system. For valves and seals describe pressure, temperature and exposure to sand or process chemicals. Core handling requires gripping points, core weight, cycle time and transfer interfaces. A broad volume class cannot establish interchangeability of a shooting head or tooling mount. Include drawings, position numbers and control-system modifications. For older installations determine whether the assembly is original or part of a later retrofit. Current supply of a historical replacement number must be checked individually.
