Provide machine model, serial number, year and drawing revision. Casting material, weight, dimensions and core binder determine the process requirements. For hammers and fixtures document mounting dimensions, air supply, impact positions and existing markings. A rotating machine also requires information about the rotation axis, clamping device and hose routing. Describe manual loading or robot integration, controller revision and available signals. A model name establishes neither cycle time nor permitted casting weight for a particular execution. Nameplate and assembly photographs, together with the spare-parts list, help identify components. Fixture and motion changes must suit the existing machine configuration.
