Include project and vessel numbers plus the piping and instrumentation diagram. Select seals by profile, dimensions, material and cleaning media. Plate heat exchangers need maker, plate type, circuit and compressed pack dimension; pumps need their plate and mechanical-seal identification. Valves require nominal size, connection standard, seat and actuator configuration. Use temperature and pressure limits from the installed documentation. Another dairy’s process settings are not design criteria for this installation; document control and valve revisions following modifications.
