Editorial approach & sources

Our focus

We select developments in industrial components, automation, measurement, maintenance and manufacturing. Party politics, religion, military applications and social conflicts are outside this section.

How an article is prepared

We start with manufacturer information, research releases or specialist publications. We link the source, show its date and separate the development from our interpretation for a sourcing enquiry. Texts are prepared with AI assistance and checked against the cited sources. They are not first-hand product tests.

What we publish

We do not publish complete copies of outside articles, unchecked automatically collected items or third-party press images without established usage rights. A new feature is neither proof of availability nor approval for substitution. A source link does not imply a distribution partnership.

Selection and updates

Automated topic filters assist selection but cannot replace content review. Advertisements and paid articles are not reused as independent technical reporting. Older announcements do not receive an artificially recent source date. Please report corrections through our contact page.

Technical sources

For manufacturer developments we prefer the original announcement. We also follow Fraunhofer IPA and the specialist publications Automation World, Control Engineering and Machine Design. Linking to a source does not grant permission to copy its content.
