Provide the component drawing and released 3D data with revision, material and critical tolerances. Describe the casting or injection process, cavity count, intended quantity and existing machine mounting. Machine specifications should include clamping force, platens, tie-bar spacing, installation height and ejector interface. For existing moulds document tool number, insert position and cooling connections. For trimming dies add the raw casting and required trimming contour. Identify changes to gating, cooling or venting separately. Dimensions and photographs do not replace an approved drawing. Published size ranges describe manufacturing capability, not compatibility of a particular mould with a machine.
