Provide machine type, serial number, year and the measuring electronics designation. Attach a rotor drawing showing mass, diameter, length and centre of gravity. For horizontal machines record journal diameter, support spacing and drive method; for vertical machines describe the mounting flange and clamping fixture. Specify measuring speed, number of correction planes and the installed correction method. Document dimensions and installed position for rollers, belts or couplings. For sensors identify the connection and measuring amplifier. Include photographs of the nameplate, fixture and affected component plus its parts-list position. Similar rotor mass does not establish component interchangeability.
