Provide series, serial number, year and machine layout. State axis travels and the affected axis; a position without an axis designation is insufficient for a long gantry installation. For milling heads document head marking, tool interface, spindle speed and cooling connections. Identify linear-motor segments, measuring scales, readheads and drives separately. Describe covers and guides by installed position and mounting dimensions. Controller revision and option list help identify electronic assemblies. Pallet changers, tool magazines and extraction equipment may have separate identification. Add fault photographs, circuit position and required quantity. Power figures for one milling head do not automatically apply to every head in the same machine family.
