For melt-flow testing record temperature, test load, expected measurement range and piston and die identification. For HDT or Vicat describe specimen dimensions, supports, loads, heating rate and required station count. Identify measurement accessories, weights and temperature probes against the instrument parts list. A model change does not confirm continued accessory compatibility. State calibration, result export and traceability requirements separately. For an earlier CEAST instrument, include its nameplate and manual so that legacy and current generations are distinguished.
