Replacement identification therefore depends on the drive and, particularly, the installed gripping tool, its layer pattern and the actual package format.

Provide installation reference, serial number and assembly position in the line layout. Document package type, dimensions, mass and stability together with pallet format and layer pattern. For gripping tools record the mechanical interface, vacuum or pneumatic connections, sensors and existing finger geometry. Robot type and controller revision are additional identifiers, but do not replace the tooling drawing. Describe cycle requirements, simultaneous lines and transfer heights. A package-format change can affect tooling, safeguards and programming. Identify replacements using installed markings and parts lists. A series name alone does not establish capacity, throughput or compatibility for a particular installation.
