Hosokawa Alpine manufactures equipment for mechanical powder and particle processing. Jet mills and classifier mills use different size-reduction principles. Nozzles, grinding tools, classifier wheels and wear protection therefore need matching to the actual machine size and material configuration. Hosokawa Alpine announced integration of the German Hosokawa Solids Solutions GmbH effective 1 October 2026, with the Solids brand retained. Its programme adds bulk storage, conveying, weighing and dosing to the grinding equipment range.

For Solids dosing equipment also state bulk material, particle size, bulk density, throughput, moisture and cleaning method. For screws document installed length, diameter, pitch, seals and drive. Big-bag discharge stations need bag dimensions, docking, discharge aids and installed weighing equipment. Assess explosion protection and product-contact materials against the actual installation documentation.
