Record machine model, serial number, year and nameplate clamping force. Add alloy, shot weight, plunger diameter and process execution. For die-related enquiries document platen dimensions, tie-bar spacing, die height, opening stroke and ejector interface. For hydraulic or electrical assemblies give the complete marking and circuit-diagram position. Describe existing furnace, extraction and spraying equipment with their control interfaces. A current portfolio range does not establish the equipment fitted to an older machine. Drawing revision and previous modifications are particularly relevant for spare parts. Check fluids, cooling and utility requirements against project documentation; any modification requires separate technical approval.
