ENGMAR Spare parts & components

ENGMAR designs and manufactures welding-fume extraction systems. The French company combines capture components with airflow and workstation planning. Its offering includes slit nozzles and articulated arms for capture near the source. Performance depends on the combination of capture geometry, positioning, airflow and the connected installation; an individual component does not establish adequate extraction for the complete workplace.

Technical selection

Provide welding process, materials and a workstation drawing. Document the distance and movement between the emission point and nozzle. For spares, identify arm type, length, joint construction and mounting dimensions. State connection diameter, measured airflow and available suction pressure at the connection; a fan free-air rating is insufficient for selection. Hose routing, extensions and filter condition affect the installation. Choose nozzle width and adjustment range against the available space. Include existing measurement and maintenance records. Replacement requires comparison with the designed extraction system; a product family alone does not establish capture efficiency or workplace protection.
