State machine model, serial number, year and label position. Cross-web units also require packaging-machine type, web width, number of lanes and location before or after sealing. Document label width, length, backing material, winding direction and roll core. Printheads need printer model, resolution, print width and markings. For conveying parts include track count, belt dimensions and product guides. An identical printer name does not automatically establish compatibility of wiring, sensors or controller electronics in a different installation.
