Distinguish the 1/2-inch fitting from the 1 1/4-inch fitting; equal core diameter does not establish a suitable tool connection. For replacement or resegmentation state tube condition, usable length, segment count and existing article marking. In the manufacturer table an R suffix identifies a resegmentation variant and must not silently be treated as a new core bit. Determine speed and operating conditions from the tool and machine documentation. Photographs of fitting, segments and packaging label help avoid article-number transcription errors.
