Technical selection

Provide the Engine Serial Number (ESN), engine model, CPL or configuration and existing part code. The R2.8 manual separates 4989314 as the original remote oil filter from 5399594 as the new version. The footnote for 5399594 refers to engines built after August 2021 and oil-filter head 5308354. Check the installed filter head and any conversions accordingly. Model name or displacement alone cannot approve a part; confirm supersessions in the current engine-specific catalogue.
