Record machine number, station number and processing-unit type. Describe the workholding and movement sequence with a sketch. For polishing spindles establish tool diameter, bore, speed and direction. Abrasive belts require length, width, grit and backing; similar dimensions alone do not qualify a process. For servo units record motor, encoder, gearbox and drive revision together. Assess working-pressure control, tool-wear compensation and extraction separately. Robotic cells additionally require robot and controller versions. Match parts for a customised installation using its station parts list; a rotary-table family does not define the full electrical and mechanical configuration.
