State machine model including colour count, serial number and station position. Record ink-cup and doctor-ring outside and inside diameters, height and material. Pads require contour, mounting, hardness and print pattern; plates require size, thickness and material. Identify existing ink and thinner systems separately. Pneumatic assemblies need cylinder dimensions, valve identifiers and connections. A format change can require different holders or transport adjustments and is not automatically a direct component replacement.
