Document jaw profile, mounting, actuation and load-cell connection. For extensometers provide gauge length, travel range and interface. For impact testers distinguish energy class, striker, anvil geometry and specimen notch; include the test standard and its edition. Replacement parts must not change the measuring chain or protective functions without assessment. Inspection or calibration may be needed after intervention. Limits from different versions must not be combined into an assumed common machine configuration.
