Provide complete tool and insert markings, cutting grade, coating and quantity. Document shank diameter, holder interface, overhang, machining diameter and left- or right-hand execution. Add workpiece material, hardness, operation and coolant arrangement. For inserts record geometry, corner radius, chipbreaker and seat design; insert screws also need a confirmed reference. A grade designation is not a complete ordering code. Cutting conditions must suit the machine, clamping and operation rather than being copied from one catalogue example. For special tools attach the drawing, revision and previous order documentation.
