State the plant number, year and affected assembly. For process design document feed rate, particle-size distribution, fines content, density and moisture. Specify the required product cuts and residual moisture explicitly. Record existing pumps, cyclones, screening surfaces and pipe connections with dimensions. For thickeners add water flow, solids concentration, target sludge properties and flocculant in use. Representative material data are more useful than nominal tonnage alone. Identify wear parts through drawings and mounting position. Water-recovery figures depend on feedstock and process conditions. Changes to dosing, pump sizing or screen media must be assessed in the context of the complete installation.
