Shot-sleeve family for cold-chamber die-casting machines.

Provide machine manufacturer, type, serial number and drawing revision. For shot sleeves record bore, outside diameter, length, pouring opening and interfaces; describe cooling passages using the drawing. Document plunger rod connection, sealing arrangement and cooling. State casting alloy and existing component material. For refurbished sleeves include the current bore diameter and repair record. Do not infer clearances, material or heat treatment from visually similar parts.
